The Plymouth ride was originally destined for Murphy's but we learned of a big event there on the same weekend so Daniel offered to take over for Eric as ride leader and took us on a circuitous scenic route from Ione to Plymouth for lunch at 'In Cahoots". The weather was beautiful other than the stifling heat in the later afternoon, and the views were picturesque throughout the route. I'm sorry there aren't more and better pictures but no one brought a digital and all I had was a point and shoot with about 8-10 shots left on the roll.

Once again the ride was uneventful and all riders returned home safely. The only hangup was the late arrival of yours truly. FYI, it takes more than an hour to reach Ione (ride starting point) from West Sac when you travel via the River Road to Twin Cities/Hwy 104 road.

I'm sure we all experienced different highlights on this ride. For me it was meeting Bill's father John and taking his Ducati for a short spin around the parking lot. He inspired me to keep riding well into my retirement. The food at In Cahoots was very good I thought, even if we did wait between 30 and 40 minutes after ordering for it to arrive.

I'm sorry this report is so late but I had to wait for our next trip to Costco to have the pictures developed and put on a CD. And then because of my chimpanzee like computer skills I had trouble moving the pics to an email. I almost had to call Don Inamasu to talk me through it. Thank goodness for my wife whom you can all give at least half the credit for this report.

By the way, Daniel is a good ride leader. He was able to mix a nice pace through the twisties with periodic pauses for riders at the back to catch up. The pace through the twisties was really starting to pickup nicely when Jennifer began pounding on Daniel's back. Actually we were slowed down a little when we fell in behind a bunch of Goldwings and cruisers being led by a three wheeler. Oh well.
